That’s how long I’ve had this thing. From the tail end of high-school (cringe) to all of college (cringe) to this weird, post-grad, early 20s hustle (cringe, but with decent health insurance), it has been incredible way to keep track of the back corner table crew (and a few others).
Going to primarily exist here now: OTBD. Here’s to all of my enormous draft boxes, which I’m attempting to empty. Here’s to risk and practice and mess. Here’s to getting better. If nothing else, I hope to give myself another reason to look back and wonder who in the hell gave me 10 fingers and the WiFi password.

The texts of the books were as diverse as the geography they covered: Nigeria, Zimbabwe, South Africa, Botswana, Zambia, Mozambique. They were written in wildly divergent styles, by writers that included several Nobel Prize winners. Yet all of books’ covers featured an acacia tree, an orange sunset over the veld, or both.
